Our Story: A Legacy of Distinction in the Maule Valley
At MiRey the legacy of winemaking spans generations. MiRey was established as a family-owned winery in 1920 when our family came from Northern Italy to Maule Valley, Chile. Nestled at the southern end of the Central Valley, the Maule Valley serves as the cradle of our vineyards, boasting a diverse microclimate that imparts fruitiness, intensity, and complexity to our wines. With over 250 hectares of meticulously planted vineyards, our focus on both red and white varieties mirrors our passion for exploring the distinct terroirs within the Valley. From the foot of the Andes to the shores of the Pacific Ocean, our wines tell the story of our ancestral migration and dedication to producing exceptional, terroir-driven expressions. MiRey, meaning ‘My King’ in Spanish, symbolizes the royal dedication we bring to every bottle, ensuring that each sip carries the essence of our family’s unwavering commitment to quality, tradition, and the Maule Valley’s unique viticultural heritage.
